about

Emiliano, whom I met and played with in Córdoba, Argentina, described my then improvisation on his guitar connected to a double tape reverb thingy he had running as: "Metabolic". From my discography one can see a trend. A tendency to a more minimal, experimental, patient, non linear music. The spirit in me, who had been aching since ages to play this kind of music, had now a name for its creation, and this album resulted from these explorations.

Completely improvised, recorded in one take, mono and then normalized (sometimes compressed, feedback you see) and pseudo-stereo-ized.
Using a traveler's electric guitar, a lapel-microphone and all the sound and electromagnetic wave generating objects I could find. These sounds sculptured, layered and recorded with slave mass produced pedals I got way cheaper than I should have.

A companion to both send you and guide you through a bad trip. Which in my opinion we readily, currently and constantly need.

The cover was made by my dear friend Chiara.
